My wife and I give to the VCSU foundation because we believe in the mission of VCSU and the faculty and staff that work hard every day to carry it out. The relationships that I have developed with colleagues, fellow alumni, students and their families affirm that teaching at VCSU is very meaningful. I appreciate the heritage handed down to us by committed men and women over the years to help make this a great university. Having been a part of that legacy now for over ten years, I feel responsible to support and continue that legacy for the next generation. Knowing that I have had a small part in the educational opportunity of some of the students that walk our halls is very rewarding. What better legacy is there than helping our youth reach their true potential? Finally, it is our way of saying thanks for the opportunity to be part of this great institution of higher education as well as our contribution to the well-being of VCSU.

VCSU is a campus that supports our students and our V-500 scholarship program plays a very important role in that. Every day my staff experiences the excitement conveyed from a prospective student and their families when we are able to offer financial funding towards their education. If we are able to assist them with their investment challenges, we are able to continue the growth in our university. I'd like to give a HUGE thank you to all that support this wonderful program.

As a faculty member at VCSU since 1987, I am proud to support VCSU. Making an annual gift to V-500 and the Century Club is an opportunity for me to express my appreciation to VCSU and to the students who attend this great university. I feel a personal responsibility to try and help VCSU grow and to support students in need. VCSU is a great place to work and I want VCSU to continue to be one of the top universities in the nation.

We both attended VCSU for our general education before transferring out of state to continue our chosen majors. Even though neither of us graduated from VCSU, we both feel it is very important to give back to the university through V-500. Our education at VCSU played a very important role in shaping our lives and careers. VCSU is such an important asset to the city of Valley City, as well as the state of North Dakota. It is our hope that by giving back through V-500, more students will be able to have the opportunity to pursue their dreams!

I was recruited by a few schools to play football. The V-500 scholarship gave VCSU the edge in my decision. I'd like to thank everyone who gives to V-500 so that students like myself are given the opportunity to succeed at VCSU with less financial burden. I am continuing my family's tradition as a Viking.

We both had the opportunity to attend and graduate from VCSU. One of us was very fortunate to receive a V-500 scholarship, which helped in so many ways. We feel that it's important to give to V-500 because we want to help other students, like others helped us. It feels great knowing that our donation can help other students succeed at VCSU and ultimately in their future.

The V-500 Scholarship program is a win-win opportunity for potential students, VCSU and the Valley City community. The financial support offered assists in increasing and sustaining enrollment. In turn, students have a positive influence on the community whether it be in business, sports, music, entertainment, or religious affiliation.
V-500 opens many doors...including the opportunity for Alumni to invest in the future growth of VCSU.

We believe that a quality education is the key to success in life. One of the best ways to support the future is by enabling the next generation(s) to receive a great education at VCSU. We believe the V-500 scholarships enable VCSU to attract the best students and supports their ability to succeed. The success of VCSU and its students depends on the contributions that people make to the V-500 program and we are proud to be part of that.
